What better way to close out age 1 than with a pancake breakfast hosted by local heroes? Yeah, we couldn’t think of one either.
Fire Station 62 in Kalispell occasionally hosts free pancake breakfasts for the public. Rost and his friend Ava not only got their fill of delicious pancakes and sticky sweet syrup but they also got to tour the fire station including playing with hoses, steering wheels, horns, and sirens.
Oh course, it wouldn’t be a perfect day without a tractor.
Kids certainly love fire equipment. Our kindergartens truly enjoyed the field trip to the fire station. So much to see and learn.
Oh man, I’d completely forgotten about my own trip at that age to the fire station! Hopefully his love of rescue squads continues for years to come!
