I woke up this morning to one of the most beautiful blue skies I’ve seen all winter. Despite my late night out last night I could not spend the day in bed & therefore packed up Bosco & my friend Ian & headed out into the mountains. A short car ride landed us at the trailhead of the Bass Creek Fire Ecology Trail. This trail is a short 3 mile educational trail with little elevation gain that would normally pose no problems. However, due to our recent snowfall, there wasn’t much of a trail to guide us along our way. So Ian & I spent the next hour and a half on an adventure through the woods on what we thoughts just may be the trail. It made the entire experience of what may of otherwise been a slightly boring trail an adventure.

Nothing like a blue Montana sky.
So, do not follow where the path may lead, Go, instead, where there is no path and leave a trail. -author unknown
