Last spring, we took Rost to a reptile and amphibian show in Missoula. It was meant to be a fun family outing, but it sparked something unexpected in Brian—a realization of how much he missed having a bearded dragon.
A few months later, we welcomed Chester Lizard Bennett into our home.
Brian has embraced his role as a dedicated beardie dad, even building Chester a fully customized enclosure for when he’s not exploring the house. Rost, of course, is absolutely smitten with him too.
Today, Chester turns 1! I know I’m a bit late introducing him, but I’m still catching up on posts from 2024. My goal for 2025 is to finally get ahead. Say hi to Chester—and wish me luck on staying on top of things!
