Kristin & I planned a weekend backpacking trip to visit some lakes in the Mission Mountains. It didn’t take much convincing to get the boys (Christopher & Tyler) on board & we were off to enjoy one last overnight trip in the wilderness before the deep cold of winter set it.
We set out for Crescent and Heart Lake the first night & then were off to Turquoise Lake the next night. All in all we covered around 16 miles.
