Meteor Shower

Every year, around the same time in August, the night sky is lit up with thousands of shooting stars. When I was little my parents used to take my siblings & I camping during this week, even if it only meant walking a few hundred yards up the hill or down in the field by the river. I’ve always loved those times & have missed them dearly. This year I decided not to let another meteor shower pass me by. Life is too short, and even though I had to be up early the next morning for work, I drug 2 of my roomies into the Bitteroot Wilderness for a bit of star gazing. I saw 22 shooting stars in a little over an hour.

Pictures were taken by Cameron, light painting the night.
